At the YUFE YUFE Biosciences workshop in Bremen (05.-06. Sept.) eight of the ten universities currently included in the YUFE association pinned down precise time schedules and topics for envisioned joint courses and summer schools. First summer school courses, along with the YUFE Friday, will start in 2023. A joint master programme centred around biodiversity and nature conservation will start in 2024.
Our faculty was represented by p.o. Dean of the Faculty prof. dr hab. Adriana Szmidt-Jaworska and dr hab. Marcin Koprowski, prof. UMK Vice-Dean for Mobility and Internationalization and Prof. dr. hab. Werner Ulrich. Prof. Ulrich will coordinate the YUFE summer programmes in freshwater biology and European ecoregions.
